If you added a credit card on October 30, 2025, your GitHub Enterprise billing cycle starts on that date. If you change your billing method to an Azure subscription on November 4, the credit card will still be charged for the full month (October 30 - November 29). GitHub does not give a partial refund for the days you used the card. The Azure subscription will start paying from the next billing cycle, after the current period ends. So the credit card covers the current month, and Azure will cover the next month. |

I have a question about GitHub Enterprise billing. If I added a credit card on October 30, 2025, and now on November 4 I want to switch the billing method to an Azure subscription, how does that transition work?
Will the billing switch immediately to Azure subscription from the date I make the change? Or will the credit card still be charged for the full monthly billing cycle, even if I only used it for a few days? I’m trying to understand whether the card gets charged for the partial period or the full month, or if the Azure subscription takes over for the entire billing cycle.
